Roksan's group of high-value Kandy
components includes the 1750 DM CD player shown above. It is available in traditional
silver, or...

...you can get your Kandy in a
variety of klever, kool, kustom, komponent kolors as shown above. The other products in
the line include a 1750 DM integrated amplifier and 1500 DM tuner.

The folks at Verity and Lamm
produced simply splendid sound with the Parsifal Encore speakers and ML2 amplifiers.
Cables were by Purist Audio Design.

Nordost's Lars Kristensen (left) and
Joe Reynolds hold up the latest incarnation of the Red Dawn speaker cable. The Red Dawn
Revision 2 retails for 3300 DM for a 3m pair. Once again Lars was doing his famous cable
demo to packed crowds.

Shown are Symphonic Line's RG5
loudspeakers priced at 9900 DM per pair and their Kraft 250 stereo amplifier priced at
18,900 DM.

The Octave Jubilee preamplifier from
Germany is massively built and priced at 35,000 DM.

New Zealand's Perreaux showed their
350P stereo amplifier priced at 6600 DM.

We must admit that when we first saw
the Oheocha D2-al loudspeaker, we thought that it was going to walk up and start talking
to us. What's more, it certainly is cute enough that you want to pat its head. Alas, it
doesn't walk or talk, but it does play music and is priced at 5280 DM per pair. The
Oheocha company is based in England.

Also from Oheocha is the D1-s
loudspeaker priced at 1965 DM per pair.

Some say that the egg is the very
best shape for a speaker cabinet. The unique speaker on the left is the Aquarius from
Vaessen Audio Design and is priced at 30,000 DM per pair.

JVC impressed us with the build
quality of these AX-M9000 mono integrated amplifiers. A total of six of these amplifiers
(three shown) were used to drive the six speakers in the JVC room.

The Holfi Xaurus CD player from
Denmark is battery powered. The company also gives it a novel feature with its optional
cherrywood front panel. The price is 6000 DM.

This GamuT CD-1 CD player is also
from Denmark and is priced at 4995 DM.

JBL from the USA showed the Space
Ti6K loudspeaker, which is priced at 8000 DM per pair. The midrange unit used in this
speaker is reportedly the same as that used in the Revel Salon speaker (Revel and JBL are
both part of Harmon International).

Acapella loudspeakers come in
vibrant and very interesting colors!

Tag McLaren showed some eye-popping
designs. Shown above are four F1 AvantGarde speakers in varying colors. These are priced
at 47,000 DM per pair. The center-channel speaker in the front center is the F1 CA
AvantGarde priced at 28,000 DM. A close examination of these unique speakers reveals a
very high-quality finish.

The Amazon 1 turntable is 6400 DM,
the Morch DP-6 tonearm is 2290 DM, and the Lyra Helikon cartridge is 3800 DM.

To finish this day we found a unique
little product. Jeff Fritz is seen with the CD Hanger from Germany's Die Firma. These
little hangers clip into the existing slots in jewel cases and allow you to hang your CDs
wherever you want. They are sold in batches of 50 for 30 DM.
