It's the next-generation digital
player you're gonna die to have. Pioneer introduced their 12,000 DM DV-AX10
"universal" digital player that supports DVD-A, SACD, DVD-V, CD, CD-R and CD-RW.
Jeff Fritz just kept saying, "Wow!"

German speaker manufacturer Audio
Physic introduced their new Avanti 3 loudspeaker. The speaker will be available in the

Everyone keeps asking us, "Did
you see anything really neat yet?" We always tell them the same thing -- "go see
the tube in the Siltech room." Siltech's Edwin Van Der Kley is shown holding the
ST1.5 Siltech tube -- yes, a tube! It looks nothing like one, but hey, who are we to doubt
him?

The ST1.5 ends up inside the equally
nifty-looking Siltech Signature 100W mono amplifier. Retail price is $60,000 USD per pair.

Rega Planar 3 owners get ready for

re-designed Planar 3 turntable. Unfortunately no Rega representative was on hand to give
us pricing, but we can only guess that like its hugely popular predecessor, it will be
very favorably priced.
