Show sound is known to improve as components break in and setups are tweaked, but Canadian speaker manufacturer Gershman Acoustics set up a colorful system around its long-standing GAP 520-X loudspeakers ($10,000 per pair in black, $11,000 per pair in burgundy) that sounded good from early on day one of the Festival to late on day three. Driving the speakers was the moderately priced  Blue Circle BC22 amp and BC21 preamp (approximately $2000 each). A Naim CD player acted as source. Doug Schneider visited this room a few times and remarked that the sound was good every time.
