Dr. Roland Gauder, designer of the Isophon
speakers, stands proudly beside a cut-away of his Europa speaker. The Europa features such
things as two internally mounted woofers and an eighth-order crossover.

Home Theater & Sound senior
editor Jeff Fritz took the job of equipment reporting. He jots down the prices of JMlab's
new 906 (front, 3500 DM per pair) and 936 (10,000 DM per pair) loudspeakers.

Jeff took interest in the new Mordaunt-Short
Premiere 5.1 loudspeaker system, which includes an active subwoofer. Total system price is
a very reasonable 2000 DM.

Germany's Lehmann Audio gained popularity in
North American a couple years ago with the debut of the popular Black Cube phono stage.
They prominently display the Black Cube's Reviewers' Choice nod in a framed poster.

Norbert Lehmann proudly shows his aptly named
new Silver Cube, with a chassis made out of a single piece of milled aluminum. The price
is $1800 USD. For internal view, see our June 14 Daily
Coverage.
