B&W Loudspeakers of Britain introduced the
Nautilus 800 (left) priced at 35,200 DM per pair and Nautilus 800 Signature priced at
50,000 DM per pair. The base unit that both speakers stand on is actually an external
crossover.

And not to be outdone, Wilson Audio debuted
the new Sophia loudspeaker available in silver, black or gold with an estimated price of
30,000 DM ($11,700 USD). The Sophia is similar in styling to Wilson's venerable WATT/Puppy
loudspeaker, but it is a one-piece, single-woofer design.

Britain's Musical Fidelity introduced the
Nu-Vista 3DCD choke-regulated 24-bit/96kHz CD player, which is priced at 10,000 DM. The
platinum finish shown is unique to the German market. Elsewhere the unit is presented with
the company's traditional gold-colored accents. Availability is August.
