Standout Room - W. Kemph HiFi-Vertrieb (Gryphon, Danish Physics, Clearaudio)
This room consisted of the 4900 DM Danish
Physics Point Zero One loudspeakers, 12,000 DM Gryphon Adagio CD player, 16,000 DM
Callisto 2200 integrated amplifier, 5000 DM Clearaudio Champion turntable, and Gryphon
Flat cabling. When the demonstrator played Bob Dylan's Oh Mercy and Ry Cooder's
soundtrack to Paris, Texas on the Clearaudio turntable, the sound was remarkably
fleshed out, well detailed, and with an infinitely smooth top end -- one of the very best
sounds of the show.
