Mirage showed two new subwoofers with
attractive brushed-metal finish, the LF-100 ($300, not shown) and LF-150 ($500, shown
above without and with grille)...

...as well as a custom, installable
subwoofer with control unit above...

...and a full line of new in-wall Incognita
loudspeakers, which range from $300 to $1000 each.


The metal work on the 240-pound Boulder 2060
stereo amplifier ($35,000) was as impressive as its power output -- 600Wpc.

The 50" Pioneer Elite PRO-1000HD plasma
display ($17,500) is said to achieve a 60% greater brightness level than the 50"
model it replaces. The HDTV broadcast used for demonstration was very impressive.

The five-way Komri loudspeakers ($40,000/pair)
are Linn's new top-of-the-line model and rated to reproduce from below 20Hz to above
40kHz. They utilize 500W amplifiers to drive their dual woofers.

In addition to the AVM 20 processor (left), Anthem also introduced the new
PVA 7 seven-channel amplifier ($1499).
