SoundStage! LIVE A/V Tour 2001

CEDIA Expo 2001 -- Indianapolis, IN USA
ShowStoppers - Series 1

All prices in US dollars.

Anthem's AVM 20 surround-sound processor ($3199, display not included) replaces the company's AVM 2 model. The ample feature set, which includes multichannel SACD and DVD-A bass management, impressed the Home Theater & Sound crew.

Another new surround-sound processor is Arcam's FMJ AV8, which will cost $4000-$5000 when it's available in early 2002.

Paradigm will be replacing its venerable Atom loudspeaker with the new Atom V3, which will begin shipping in November. Pricing is yet to be determined.

Boulder's 2008 phono preamplifier ($35,000) can accommodate up to three analog setups. It was shown at CEDIA without its outboard power supply.

Aerial Acoustics' handsome Model 20T loudspeaker was on static display only. When available, it will cost $18,000 per pair in black or silver finish -- in addition to real-wood veneers.

Looking every bit the very powerful amplifiers that they are, the Marsh Sound Design MSD-A450M monoblocks ($9990/pair) offer 450 watts each into 8 ohms.
