Designer Michael Yee stands next to his Meadow
Song Labs Mt. Everest speaker ($13,500/pair with custom Bryston crossover), which uses a
ribbon tweeter/midrange driver and dynamic woofer.

The Mt. Everests sounded very
spacious driven by Audio Aero tubed electronics. Nordost cabling and a solid-state amp to
drive speakers' woofers rounded out the system.

Scott Novak of Synergistic Research holds his
company's Mini Power Coupler, which "supercharges the shield" of Synergistic
Research Active Shielding cables, "repelling problematic interference." The Mini
Power Coupler costs $50, or it is a mere $10 upcharge when purchased along with
Synergistic Alpha Sterling interconnects.

Six SoundStagers made the delay-ridden trip to
Montreal: (left to right) Doug Schneider, John Crossett (behind Doug), Marc Mickelson, Wes
Phillips, Jason Thorpe, and David Dowdell.

Dave and Carol Clark of audioMusings
came from sunny California to snowy Montreal for the show.

Steve Davis of distributor Sanibel Sound
proudly stands by a Copulare rack ($5500) filled with Audiomeca and Aloia components.

Verity Audio's Julien Pelchat (left) looks on
as Ultimate Audio reviewer Lars Fredell eyes the company's new Tamino loudspeaker
($4995/pair). Look for coverage of this loudspeaker in our ShowStoppers
section.

Lars gladly sits down for a listen in the
Verity Audio room.

Marc Mickelson kneels beside a display of the
Nucleus speakers from Anthony Gallo Acoustics. With each show we cover, the speakers seem
to be available in a greater array of colors.

Marc stands beside the Visonik Concept 7
loudspeaker, whose drivers are exposed. Look for full coverage of this speaker line from
Germany in our March 23rd daily coverage.
