Ensemble exhibited a remarkably coherent
system featuring a complete line of their Swiss-made componentry. The Figura loudspeakers
were ultra precise playing back a Laurie Anderson track, and the system cast a holographic
soundstage throughout the room that had Jeff Fritz mesmerized.
Also seen in the Ensemble line were the
Dichrono Hi-Dac D-to-A converter/preamplifier, Evivo power amplifier, Dichrono transport,
and even their own line of cabling. The system price was estimated at €35,000, but
the sound was priceless. |
