McIntosh went all out with the BMW car stereo display. SoundStager John Upton put it in his most eloquent terms: "It actually sounded really, really good with some imaging going on."

Roger Kanno wrestles with the Magnan Signature power cord, which retails for $800.

Gordon Rankin's Wavelength Audio showed the new Triton Signature mono amplifiers, which retail for $10,000 per pair and deliver 15 watts.

Classé's new $25,000-per-pair Omega mono amplifiers output 600 watts each.

Classé also showed its new SACD-1 SACD player, which costs $12,000.

Art Audio displayed the new Opus 10 mono amplifiers, which deliver 190 watts of power and retail for $13,500 per pair.

Jean-Paul Combelles of Audio Aero proudly shows the new $4600 Transtrac hybrid amplifier. The company also showed the Prima DAC (bottom component in background), which uses the identical D/A and resampling circuitry as that in Audio Aero's Capitole 24/192 CD player.

Rosinante unveiled their new Dulcinea loudspeaker, which retails for $6800 per pair and includes the stand shown.
