The hard-to-please Doug Blackburn was very impressed during his time in the sweet spot on the couch in the Joseph Audio/Cardas room. Joseph Audio RM33 speakers ($6000 per pair with Sound Anchor stands) were driven by VTL MB-450 Signature amps. Other electronics included an Audio Refinement preamp, an Arcam CD player used as a transport, and the dCS Purcell/Delius combination. All cables were Cardas Golden Reference. dB said this system reproduced his torture-test daboa: from the gekko CD better than any other he heard in Las Vegas.
