Meridian

Meridian's Bob Stuart hosted the most successful DVD-A demo we have heard yet. The sound was natural yet highly detailed and enveloped the entire room. The system featured the new DSP 8000 ($45,000 per pair) across the three front channels, the DSP 5500 ($12,500 per pair) on the side walls, and the DSP 6000 ($19,995 per pair) in the rear. The system was configured for either standard 5.1 surround or Chesky 6.0 depending on the program material. Rounding out the system were the 800 Reference DVD-A player and the 861 Reference Surround Controller (both $17,000).
