Outlaw Audio's Model 950 audio/video
preamplifier will retail for an introductory price of $899. It comes fully able to decode
Dolby Digital Surround EX, Dolby Pro Logic II, DTS-ES, DTS Neo:6, and Cirrus Logic Extra
Surround.

Italy's Sonus Faber debuted the new Cremona
loudspeakers, a scaled-down version of the top-of-the-line Amati Homage, priced at
"under $8000 per pair."

Now Hear This (NHT) debuted a modular speaker
system. On the right is the M6 monitor ($600 each) on top of dedicated stands. On the left
is the T6 tower that comes as a $4000 stereo speaker system that consists of two M6
monitors, two B6 bass modules, two 250W mono amps, and one stereo crossover.

The Mirage OM-200i subwoofer ($1000) replaces
the older BPS-150. Features include a 200W amplifier, two 8" drivers, two ports, and
a choice of high-gloss black or cherry finishes that match Mirage OM-series speakers.

Pioneer's $1200 DV-47A universal player is
part of the Elite series. It can play DVD-A, DVD-V, multichannel SACD, and standard CD.

France's YBA showed the new Integré Passion
integrated amplifier, which produces 100Wpc and retails for $4500.

Linn released the Classik Movie System DVD
receiver ($3000). It features Dolby Digital and DTS decoding, Knekt multi-room system, and
can output 75Wpc into 4-ohm loads. Like the other products in this series, it comes in a
variety of colors, including the blue shown above. |
