Meadow Song Labs' room featured the hybrid
ribbon/dynamic $14,000/pair Mont Blanc loudspeakers, which provided an exceptionally
transparent view into our demo recordings. Our coverage team agreed that Aimee Mann's
voice on here CD Lost in Space, from our group demo disc, was the clearest and
most natural here. Up front a Roksan Kandy KC-1 CD player was used as a transport feeding
an Orpheus Labs One DAC. An Orpheus Labs Two multichannel preamplifier was used in stereo
mode in front of the Orpheus Labs Three M mono amplifiers powering the speakers'
low-frequency woofer sections and a Conrad-Johnson MV60 stereo amplifier powering the
